Hal Hale, President Witty and good-natured Hal Hale, our first president, has displayed leadership and school spirit as he helped to promote a successful first year. With a desire to build a sound foundation for future generations, Hal accepted the challenge of establishing Hillcrest High School's government and constitution. 18

Student Body Officers Mickey Dowd, Vice Pre ident Effervescing idea and helping to plan imaginative functions, Mickey Dowd ha become a real asset to our new school. His lively enthusiasm and ambitious pur ·uit of excellence in assi ting the president, ha made him a popular ight in the hall and classrooms.
