The knowledge we have gained and the accomplishments we have made will help us throughout our lives to make important choices in the furture. We will miss the fun times, but we will look forward to what life has to offer each of us. SINCERELY YOURS Hey Homes, What up? You've been civilized long enough. Now it's time to cross over into the Hillcrest zone. No we're not in Kansas anymore so fasten your seatbelts it's going to be a bumpy ride. It's time to forget those growing pains because you need some pizazz! So take control of the way you look, after all some like it hot. Even if it means going from hardware to software theres only one name good enough HILLCREST! Perhaps the most beautiful thing about it is its spirit. Sincerely Yours! P.S. Remember to stop, go, and take control. During class break, Trish Peterson found her chance to achieve a small moral victory. School Play \"When you see a guy reach for stars in the sky, you can bet that he's doing it for some doll.\" \" Guys and Dolls\" was the spectacular musical put on by Hillcrest's students and directors this year. The scene starts out when Sky Masterson (Mark Ryser) made a bet with Nathan Detroit (Deric Nance) that he could take any \"doll\" in town to Havana. His plans are a little messed up when Nathan Detroit points to the beautiful sergeant Sarah Brown (Tricia Tueller) of the Salvation Army. Adelaide, (Marlo 18

Jeppson) Nathan Detroit's fourteen year fiance, doesn't like the idea of Detroit's gambling, she would rather settle down and get married. The play revolves around these two conflicts making it a great comedy and thriller. Directors, Mr. Vuyk, Mrs. Mousley, and Mr. Bentley along with the talents of Mr. Northway, Mr. Anderson, and Mr. Shumway helped make this musical possible. Thanks to the talents of 275 students and directors this year's musical was a great success. All ison Jones 19

Mr. Hillcrest Whoot woo, nice undies boys. Carlos Lopez, Travis Hanberg, and Dennis Armstrong model their Fruit of the Loom wear. Troy Nesbit models the hairstyle of a \" real man \", as he pleases the crowd by showing a little cleavage. Check lhis stud out! It's our Mr. Hillcrest Adam Shipp finally comes out of his shell and shows his true personality, while John Mark Ryser. Way to go Mark. Schofield playfully nirts with a babe in the audience. But not even these two hunks can stand in comparison to the 1991 Mr. Hillcrest Mark Ryser. 20/Mr. Hillcrest

Scott Stephenson and Steve Smith stood in awe as Chelsea Clark serenaded them. What could be better than 24 of the finest Hillcrest men on stage, live, strutting their stuffi This year's assembly was packed with great talent, entertainment, not to men- tion nice bodies. Some of the crowd's favorites were Scott Ste- phenson and Dave Ulibari doing their lively rendition of Michael Jackson's \"Bad\". John Vigil, Bart Worthington and Troy Nesbit sang the all time favorite \"Lollipop.\" Both Mark Ryser and Ryan Hey- wood wooed us with their musical and singing talent as they sere- naded the crowd, while Steve Smith, Dave Despain, and John Schofield captured our hearts as they sang \"Unchained Melody.\" The swimsuit competition filled the stage with tantalizing bodies, al- though in one of the crowd favorite no skin was showing. Ed Loomis modeled his Saddam Hussein bot- tom of channel swimwear. The 1991 royalty were, 2nd runner up, John Schofield, 1st runner up, Ed- die Loomis, and crowned as Mr. Hillcrest, Mark Ryser. Dave Ullbari was surprised as we caught him in a special moment with his date. Check these suckers out. Bart Worhtlngton, John Vigil, and Troy Nesbit sweetened us up Page by: Lorinda Laxman and Tricia Orangroth . with th eir rendition of \" Lollipop\". John 's harmmonized voice filled the auditorium, with his 21 reai tal ent.

Boys State Boys State is a student group that spends a week during the summer up at Weber State learning about political and governmental issues. Seven of Hillcrest's own \"upstanding\" young men were able to be apart of this group. During this week, when not involved with activities such as holding imitation elections for positions from dog catcher to Governor, the boys found time to meet and become better acquainted with other students. Andy Armstrong. Troy Nesbit. Richard Thrasher. Chris Bown. Scott Niederhauser. Shane Andrews. Lincoln Stromness. Girls State Girls State included three of Hillcrest's most ambitious young women this year. For one week, during the summer, these three students were able to travel down to Cedar City and learn how the government works. Though time and activities were demanding and structured, friendships were made that would last a life time. Jennifer Hays, Shelly Dockstader, Beva Hadlock 47

SENTRY The Sentry newspaper has been around as long as Nillcrest has. The staff puts out about eight issues a year and there are over 2,400 copies distributed. The purpose of the newspaper is to inform Nillcrest students of current events in the world at Nillcrest. Many of our Nillcrest students had articles written about them. The Sentry staff works very hard to put out each issue. Under the supervision of Ms. Beck, the staff sometimes had to stay as late as 9:.30 pm in order to finish a deadline. This hard work has paid off, however. The Sentry newspaper has won numerous awards over the past years. It was voted the best high school newspaper in the state. 1st row: RuthAnn Farnsworth-editorial editor, Jane Johnson-editor-in-chief. Becky Lindberg-News editor.
