Cha-C hin g! Court Support enior Rob ~1cDonald warmed up for the match agai nst Jordan. Rob loves tennis and idolizes Men's coach mith as heexplai ns,\"That guy is an inspi- Tennis ration to me. He gave me private tennis lessons over the summer. I love him.\" Leaders of the mack! Captains Rob McDonald and athan Gold were four year members of the HH team. (choreographed by Tonya Har ri s and assisted by Clara Denney.) As part of the compe- tition, the candidates for Mr. Hillcrest had to perform sev- eral grueling feats. Their week's activities consisted of onion and licorice eating con- tests, as well as nose-picking, legs and lips competitions. The candidates were also required to present their personal talents and take part in a group dance. Each candi- date had to provide their own interpretation of evening and swim-wear. To finish off the week a stomp was held to crown Mr. Hillcrest. Ironically, the winner, Grant Smith, was not planning on entering the con- test until persuaded by a friend. Not short on talent. AWWWE! Momma's enior, Rand Layton waited for an at bat Boys! oppurnitutity to kick some Bingham Butt in a non-region game. The final score was 10-5 in the Varsity Huskies favor. The King of Baseball! lake lordison is definitely the star player of the Huskies this year, with 15 RBI's in the pre-season alone. lake has also been offered afull-ride schol- arship to Dixie College. lake says, \"Heabsol utely loves this game.\" lake played 1st base and was also a back-up pitcher. lake was also interviewed by ChannelS news, and was aprep athlete of theweek for the alt Lake Tribune.
