Sizzling Spirit . Probably most people wonder what all goes into cheer and songlead- ing. The main thing that people don't know about are the summer camps. This year, the varsity and junior varsity went to two camps. one at the Uof Uand the other was held at the USU. The tem- peratures at the U reached 106 de- grees. but they still managed to w1n the competition cheer and the superior tro- phy At USU it rained everyday and they still took the competition cheer. once more. The camps really helped them to support the teams more effectively and give them the much needed spirit. This year we had a slight difference in the set up of cheerleaders and song- leaders. Instead of six of each. we had seven songleaders and six cheer- leaders. Also, our cheerleaders are all seniors. Along with the new faces of these girls. there is a new advisor. She is new at Jordan. This is Ms. Farnsworth These thirteen girls put out a lot of energy and dedication to support our school and athletic teams. We thank youI Varsity Top L. toR. Kathy Lloyd. Jody Gordner.
