COLOPHON Throughout our wonderful, fun-filled 1988-1989 school year, the yearbook staffslaved over the sixty-ninth edition of the Beetdiggcr. Twelve-hundred yearbookswere shipped to Sandy from Jostens American Yearbook Company of Visalia,California. The one hundred seventy-six page book was printed on eighty-pound high glosspaper. End-sheets have a white background with two-point hundred percent black.The divider pages have a sixt} percent black bar with a white background. Thetypesetting for the endshcets was done on the CompuGraphic Typesetter by JohnJoeseph and Adam Uribe. Body copy is consistant throughout the book at ten point Times Roman. Captionsarc in eight point Times Roman. The colophon is done in ten point Times Roman.Senior and Junior names arc done in ten point Times Roman, while theSophomores and faculty arc in eight point Times Roman. The folios were submittedas artwork designed by John Joseph on the Apple Macintosh SE. Folios arefourteen point for the identification and ten point for the page numbers.The indexis done in ten point Times Roman. Different headline styles were used in eachsection, selected by the section editors. The book was a bargain at seventeen dollars and was sold to the students atregistration in the summer. Scott Adams Photography took all class portraits. Allother photographs in the book were taken by a variety of yearbook photographers.After the eighty-nine eighty-eight Beetdigger received great reviews from Jostons,the eighty-nine staff wanted to make a great, fun book for the students (includingthemselves).
