The School E-magazine, an anthology of the experiences, dreams and thoughts of my little children. I am overwhelmed with joy to see the buds blooming to flowers and also to see their thriving potential to put down their thoughts to ideas. We have to plant , nurture and groom every child to grow into a strong, independent and confident citizen capable of facing the challenges of life and society as it exists today and will exist tomorrow. At SJPS we believe every child is different, with a treasure of unique potential stored in him .With proper guidance and care , each child can emerge as catalyst of desirable change. INAUGURATION CEREMONY The inauguration ceremony of a newly designed reception lounge was held at SJPS on 15 Feb 2022. The function commenced with the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony by the guest of honour, Honourable President SSJV Shiksha Samiti, Shri Shirish Poonglia in the presence of all esteemed dignitaries and guests.

VACCINATION CAMP



Mahavir Jayanti Mahavir Jayanti is one of the most important festivals in Jainism. It celebrates the birth anniversary of the 24th Trithankara Mahavira, who played a significant role in preaching Jainism. This day is also known as the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira. This day was celebrated with great fervour at SJPS. A special morning assembly was organised where students learned about the life and noble teachings of Bhagwan Mahavira. The assembly commenced with the chanting of Navkar Mantra. The young impressionable minds pledged to live a righteous life. The assembly culminated with a melodious song sung by the school choir.



WORLD HERITAGE DAY

World Heritage Day Heritage Club Of our school celebrated World Heritage Day on 13 April 2022,to raise awareness among students about preserving our heritage sites and also the efforts required to conserve and draw attention towards it. On this remarkable occasion students enjoyed the activities of heritage monuments bookmark and container painting on any famous monuments and participated whole heartedly. These fun filled activities unleashed their creativity. The students worked enthusiastically and experimented with different shades of colour to flaunt their artistic imagination. The objective behind this activity was to enlighten the students about the value and significance the world’s heritage holds.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION… For the past 52 years, Earth Day has been celebrated around the world to call attention to some of our most pressing environmental and social problems, including climate change, biodiversity loss and dwindling natural resources. Students unite to celebrate the power of green. Our environmental conservationist from Middle and Senior School contributed by doing various activities like Collage Making and Face Painting to planting saplings. Pre- primary students also enjoyed ‘nature -walk’, which was a delightful experience for them. The motive was to inculcate students with nature of conservation, respecting nature, being mindful of disposing the waste and encouraging them to reduce, reuse and recycle.



BIDDING ADIEU

AU REVOIR Celebration… .. School journey comes to an end “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”. Our school hosted a farewell ceremony AU REVOIR for the class XII batch of 2021-2022.An enthusiastic and sentimental class XI took great pride in organising the ceremony to bid adieu to their seniors, who are now all set to embrace the challenging world ahead. The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Honourable Joint Secretary SSJV Shiksha Samiti Dr Sunita Jain and Honourable Sports Convener Shri Mahavir Kankaria that was followed by recital of Navakar Mantra. A series of performance showcasing the fun of school life were put up by the students of class XI. There were different categories of awards for class XII like Mr. And Ms. SJPS, Picasso, Virtuoso, Twinkling Toes, Madam Curie, Mr. Phenomenal, Gem of SJPS and so on. The Head Girl and The Head Boy expresses their gratitude towards the school and also confessed their mixed feelings on leaving this great institution that has been a source of great opportunities and has been instrumental in shaping their personalities. The program concluded with the oath ceremony administered by the Principal, where the students took school pledge with utmost diligence that they will strive to discharge their duties and responsibilities towards the school and society. The air was tinged with emotions as students took photograph around the majestic school building where they had spent their childhood and grown up into well groomed human beings.





INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION S. J. Public School has always been in the forefront to ensure the best for the students. The foremost priority is to provide a holistic approach to health and well being of our students, by keeping a healthy balance of mind and body. Yoga being a catalyst to mental well being embodies the unity of mind and body. It helps to instill confidence and to bring learning to children on an experimental level and teaches them to be preserver , be patient and work towards their goals. Yoga also provides tools for practicing compassion, mindfulness, generosity, focus, strength and flexibility. To stay strong and be strong to face the tough time it is even more important to build up our immunity, within the four walls of our house. In the pursuit of the same, on International Yoga Day S. J. P. S organized a yoga session in collaboration with ‘Ekam Yoga’, on the digital platform. The celebration concludes with some breathing exercises like Pranayam and Anulom vilom. The students participated with great enthusiasm and vigour. The innumerable benefits of practicing yoga were explained to all the participants by Yogini Sonia. The boundless peace of doing the asanas was amply visible right from the faces of the students.



Success Saga of SJPS….. Physical education is an integral part of the total education system. It helps in the attainment of the ultimate aim of education that is the achievement of holistic development and games and sports play a vital role in student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in competitive examination but he should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigour of life. It’s a proud moment for all SJPians as our school and academy students participated in All India 15th Real Gold Skating Championship held at Jhotwara Jaipur. Arham khan of class VII won a gold medal wherein our SJ Academy students, kushagra Doshi also won a gold medal Asad Khan , Navika Goyal and Naman Khandelwal grabbed silver medal. The feats acquired by our students in the Skating Championship highlights our commitment towards the goal.
