His work as been featured in prestigious awards such as the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize in 2010, 2013 and 2014 and has also been recognised by the worlds largest photo expo Les Rencontres d’Arles and more recently the KLPA international portrait awards. He has just completed a series of portraits of all 32 London Borough Mayors and the Lord Mayor of London, celebrating the diversity and multiculturalism of London. Ian working on location for the London Borough Mayors project 2014. Commissioned portraits aregenerally shot on location. Ian brings along a mobile studio using either conventional studio backgroundsor working within the environment. Ian consults with the client his ideas as to what will make the bestportrait and brings a very relaxed manner to the shoot.
