Although it is mainly finished, I can’t believe all of the countless accessories of the miniature world I know I will prob- ably never finish. Cut out the picture and glue in place, taking care not to use blobs of glue, as that would squeeze out onto your picture. When this is dry, glue the window frame centrally to the other piece of frame. Step 8. If you want your picture to stand, then out together the triangle frame stand mentioned in Step 3. Paint it the same colour as your main frame and glue in place. Step 9. This method of making frames is so versatile. Try some other shapes and sizes to suit your house and rooms. Step 10. Why not take family photos and scan them into your computer so you can re-size them to fit your new frames? You can also do pop stars for the children’s rooms, sports stars for the teenagers—even some of your own holiday photos would look great. Step 11. You could also try some other paints for the frames: pink to match the nursery, silver for the modern lounge. If using only coloured paint on your frames, then give them one coat of gloss varnish to finish.
