Narrative Poems: Mount EverestThe air is heavily thick-7I am staying with the clouds-7A small village is beaming bright-7From far up high-4The cold weather makes me shake-7Like sitting in a freezer-7But that’s no reason for loss-7I won’t, I can’t lose-4The snow covers my weak legs-7The ice I harshly grasp was,-7Once a big, strong climbing pole-7I move forward-4I put down my bag slowly-7Reaching out for warm water-7Taking a sip to relax-7Relaxation-4I set up my sleeping bag-7It wiggles as I go in-7Jump in and let warmth fill you-7Me. Go. To. Sleep.-4I rise from my sleeping bag-7And feel the cold snow falling-7It melts on my warmed up cheeks-7Another day-4I reach there, the very top-7I scream like a big Blow Horn-7It echoes through the valleys -7I made it here!-4Mount Everest!

Simile Poems: Candy! The swirls like a never ending tunnel Colours so bright as if it was HoliThere are wrappers like a blanket, keeping the candy nice and clean. Who knew such a simple sugary idea has turned into a big hit! Holidays! The lights shine like stars. Everyone has a warm smile. Everyone is rushing home, as if there is an emergency. No one wants to be alone or else it’s like being a piece of bad luck! Stars! Yellow like the sun. Small from earth, like a bug. But without them, it’s like a TV show which is completely blank Always shining, like they will shining their greatness on us! Life! One minute you have one The next, it disappears like magic. POOF! It is a long journey, but not as short as travelling around the world But it seems short when it ends, like as short as a leaf. Haiku Who am I? I am green and brown I am quite tall and sturdy My roots absorb food
