Fix Frontier Router Is Not Connecting to the Internet and FiOS Set-Top Box Problems [Proven Tips]Whenever you face connectivity issues like Frontier router is not connecting to the Internet or problemswith your FiOS Set-Top box, it is advisable to reboot it. As technical glitches are unavoidable,connectivity problem can arise with your Internet or TV. Many times, just by giving a restart to yourFrontier router, can resolve your problem.However, to restart your Frontier router or set-up box in the right way is important.In here, you will find the accurate method to reboot your router or modem along with the set-top box.Reboot your Router/ModemTo give a restart to your modem, follow the mentioned steps:  At first, press the power button to turn off your router or unplug the power cable.  Plug the power cable back to the power source or turn it back on and wait for about 30 seconds.Note: Keep your Frontier router plugged in always and turned on. This way your FiOS TV willfunction properly.

In case, the connectivity issue still persists, you can attempt a factory reset:  On the rear side of the Frontier router, there is a reset button. With the help of a paper clip or a pen, press the reset button and hold it for about 10 seconds. Note: Do not release the button before 10 seconds otherwise it will not reset your device.  On the front panel of the router, you will notice all the lights will turn off and some of them will start blinking.  The power light will lit up when the router completes its reset procedure. Now, try to access the Internet in the similar way as you always do.  After a factory reset, all the settings that you have set/changed to your Frontier router will be lost. Therefore, you have to reset them once again.Reset the Set-Top BoxBy restarting your FiOS Set-Top box, you can resolve a number of issues, like:  Set-Top Box is not responding  DVR recording issues  On Demand menu or Interactive Media Guide (IMG) is missing.To resolve the above-mentioned troubles, you can restart your FiOS Set-Top box:  At first, unplug your FiOS Set-Top box power cable from the electrical outlet.  Wait for about 15 seconds before plugging it back to the power source.  You have to wait for a while till you see time lights on the front side of your FiOS Set-Top box.  Turn on your FiOS Set-Top box and while the Interactive Media Guide is updating, you have to wait.  Now, check whether your issue is resolved or not. If the problem still persists, you may have to re-initialize your FiOS Set-Top box.Please Note: Make sure you are not disconnecting the coaxial cable which is connected to the rear ofthe Set-top box instead of the power cord.
