EARLY YEARSBEaconhouse Bahria Town Campus NEWSLETTER Principal's Note Dear Reader, Another successful Academic year comes to an end .With the world striving towards a better future, thefaculty and students of Beaconhouse Bahria Town Campus are catching up with the pace of the current technological advancements in the pursuit of excellence in Teaching and Learning. As today’s child is at an advanced level of awareness and has diversified intellectual needs, the whole community has to join hands to ensure the development of a well-resourced and equipped future generation. Beaconhouse has launched lots of new initiatives to ensure the inculcation of the required skills. The ‘Leader in Me’ project has been a great success with Primary students and the message of responsibility through empowerment and enforcement is well received by our students. This year other levels would also join the ‘Leader in Me’ programme. The Spark Tank is another incubation platform, Beaconhouse is providing to the young entrepreneurs. Our students mesmerized everyone by presenting innovative business ideas. More and more students are encouraged to participate in order to make a difference. I take pride in announcing the selection of our LAP project, the ‘GoldCommunity Club’ for the recently held Learning Agency Paradigm Conference. This project aims at the betterment of society by deliveringthe message of care, respect and empathy towards the neglected people of society and to bridge the gap between the three generations. Learning with a cause motivates all stakeholders to create a ripple effect in society, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our children. Based on your feedback and the response from all the stakeholders, following areas would be the school’s prime focus next year: • Individual attention to the students • Reading and writing skills • Stage presentations Your collaboration will help ensure the attainment in the above mentioned domains. Head's Note As we arrive towards the end of this school year, allow me to manifest the triumphs we have accomplished together; working in complete partnership to ensure that the education of our children is maintained seamlessly. With immense pleasure, I congratulate the parents and our hard-working students on some key achievements, we have acquired this year. These achievements would not have been possible without your perennial collaboration and effort. We are excited to share that we successfully conducted a lot of exciting acttivities in the second term. Transportation activity, Dream carnival, Sports Day, Istaqbal-e- ramadan, handwriting competition, reading competition, Speech competition, Storytelling competition, Graduation Ceremony and Happy Feet were the highlights of the term.

Students were given the concept of peace and it’s important for global solidarity and sustainable world. Peace day was celebrated by singing songs, indulging our tiny tots in painting and poster making activities. Red C lour Day2 Re olou r DayColor is a power which directly influences the soul. Pre-nursery level celebrated Red colour Day with fervor and happiness. Little champs looked adorable in their favorite- colored dresses. Kids-friendly activities were arranged for our tiny-tots such as coloring, painting and games along with a refreshing juice corner.

3 Shopping Activity A shopping activity was arranged for our young aspirants to inculcate the sense of real-life events in them. 5 Sports Day The Annual Sports day was held with great enthusiasm in the pleasant weather of March. Taekwondo display was the highlight of the event. 7 TNS Mon olouge Hania Waseem, very talented student of KG Iris won 2nd Position in Monologue Slam Cubs Category, organized by TNS. It was a well-deserved award. We are proud of you Hania. 8 Art Comp etition LMA 6-E hosted an art competition in February. Eleven BSS branches took part in it and presented their best work. Our brilliant little artist Taimoor Ahsin from KG Orchard, secured 1st position by presenting an impressive painting on nature conservation. 9 Open Day A mesmerizing Open day was organized to give prospective parents an insightful opportunity to gain firsthand experience of the school. It was held in the crisp and cold weather of January. A lot of interactive and fun-filled games along with jumping castle stole the show. Everyone enjoyed the day which made our tiny tots ready for an amazing fun learning year ahead. 10 Istakbal- e- Ramzan A highly auspicious and religious event was conducted in Ramadan to highlight the importance of this month. The parents were invited to witness the mesmerizing performances of the young talented students.
