Pinergy Smart Business Sales Process – Module 3This module outlines the steps around what customer documentation is required to support the budgetcalculation. It also goes through the pricing tool used to calculate the budget.1. Customer Bill InformationA soft copy of the following is required to calculating the customers total annual KwH usage which feedsinto the pricing calculator to create the proposed budget. 2 Summer Bills 2 Winter Bills The bills need to be stored in Shared Documents/Pinergy Smart Business/Customer Sites/ Customer Account Name/Sales and name them as bills-Customer Account Name.2. Calculating the customers annual budgetThere is a pricing tool to help work out the customers budget for the proposal and contract. This can befound in Pinergy Smart Business/Sales and is called PINERGY-Pricing-Tool-v1.0 FINAL. Using thePinergy Price Tool, select the tab with the appropriate tariff at the bottom of the worksheet for the site(s): • Pinergy Pricing 24 Hour • Pinergy Pricing Day-Night • Pinergy Pricing 3 PhaseFocusing on the usage row, enter the site(s) average annual usage and the correct MIC to calculate thebudget. 3. Comparing pricing toolThere is also a comparing pricing tool that can be used to check what the different budget might be ifdifferent tariff rates are used. This is used for bigger customers where the rate difference might make asubstantial difference. IT can be found in Pinergy Smart Business/Sales and is called PINERGY-Compare-Prices-Tool-v1.0.As illustrated in the diagram, this tool is for comparison purposes only.Sales Process for Pinergy Smart Business V1.0 Module 3 Page 2 of 2
