Chiều nay, bọn trẻ hẹn nhau thả diều. Diều của cu Gạo chờ đợi... 4/19

Điểm hẹn là cánh đồng trống mênh mông. 5/19

Bọn trẻ bắt đầu kéo dây và chạy chầm chậm. Gió từ từ đưa diều lên. 6/19

Nhưng sao thiếu một bạn diều rồi? Cả đám diều nhìn quanh tìm kiếm... 7/19

Kia… Diều của cu Gạo vẫn chưa chịu bay lên. Nó đang khóc nức nở. “Sao tớ không giống ai hết? Tớ là con gì? “Hu hu hu... ” 8/19

-Nín đi, đừng khóc nữa! Cả đám diều xúm lại dỗ dành. -Bay lên đi! -Bạn là con diều chứ con gì. -Bay lên nào! Bạn thuộc về bầu trời. 9/19

Diều của cu Gạo chùi nước mắt, nó theo gió từ từ bay lên. 10/19

-Bay lên trời vui hơn bơi dưới nước. -Ai dám nói với không biết bay nào? -Chuồn chuồn có cánh rồi mà gắn dây chi vậy? “Hú hú!” “Là lá la!” 11/19

Chẳng bao lâu sau, đám diều đã ở lưng chừng trời. 12/19

Bỗng nhiên, tất cả lặng đi. Một điệu nhạc thật hay vang lên đâu đây. 13/19

Gió lùa qua những ống sáo nhỏ xíu trên thân diều của cu Gạo, tạo ra âm thanh này. Tiếng sáo diều! -Thích thế tớ cũng muốn có nhạc. -Nhạc của tớ sẽ vắng tiếng meo... meo... 14/19

Diều no gió và cố bay thật cao, vì diều bay cao thì ước mơ của người chăn diều mới thành hiện thực. 15/19

Chiều muộn. Bọn trẻ thu dây về và hẹn nhau chiều mai. 16/19

Diều lại bay lượn trên bầu trời xanh biếc. 17/19
