9 BLOOMSBURY’S A LEVEL PROGRAMME ENDORSED BY PANYAPIWAT INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT When deciding at which school to enrol their children, many parents wonder what will happen at the conclusion of their son’s or daughter’s studies. Bloomsbury is pleased to announce that it has negotiated guaranteed arrangements with a number of universities in Thailand and overseas whereby the latter agree to recognise Bloomsbury’s A Level programme as an entrance qualification. This means that once a student completes their Sixth Form studies at Bloomsbury and obtains specific grades in their A Levels, they can be assured of progression to a recognised BA degree at university afterwards. Hence Bloomsbury can offer specific study pathways with seamless transitions to its students based on their academic strengths, future career ambitions and personal / family studying preferences. Bloomsbury’s Principal has been negotiating Memoranda of Understanding (‘MoU’) with a number of universities willing to recognise its A Levels, and endorsement letters such as the attached missive from Panyapiwat represent an important way of converting agreed co- operation into practical steps forward both for the institutions concerned and for students seeking particular routes to the completion of university degrees and later careers. Bloomsbury’s managers are pleased to negotiate with universities on our students’ behalf to ensure academic, location and other preferences are borne fully in mind once students reach the stage of specialising in their Upper Secondary studies here as a prelude to degree and career choices.
