Thank you for your generosity! At the heart of the work of the St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation, Inc. are the Filipino people, a nation deserving of access to quality healthcare. 2019 was a momentous year for all.

Vision Equal access to quality healthcare, greater opportunities for medical education, sustained support for medical research and training, to benefit the underprivileged Filipinos. Mission To generate resources to sustain charitable, educational, and social welfare programs, and provide support for research and continuing medical education, and to promote the well-being of poor, marginalized, and gifted Filipinos.

ANNUAL REPORT 2019 St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation, Inc. At the heart of all the work we do are the Filipino people. Every year, the Resource Development Group has become the guardian to ensure the Foundation has the financial support they need to see their work through. The Foundation is guided by its core principle: to ensure that equal access to quality healthcare is available to all. The year 2019 marks a pivotal moment, as a total of 73 million pesos was raised, allowing us to reach out to more Filipinos in need. It is, by all means, a tremendous success. This allowed the hospital, dedicated to the underprivileged, an opportunity to expand our outreach projects, help more families through social services, train more Filipino youth scholars, and fund research. The St. Luke’s Foundation and St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City were also able to unveil the Ang Beng Uh Admissions, Evelyn D. Ang Cancer Referral Center, and George K. Young and Florida Uytengsu Young 16 Lounge. We would like to take this time to thank our generous Legacy Donors who greatly helped the social service patients and deserving students for Medical Scholarship. Working hand-in-hand with all the departments, fundraising champions, and organizations, we have solidified relationships with more donors, setting the groundwork for a more fruitful partnership in the future. We would like to take this time to give recognition to our generous donors. With your help, we have been able to serve 414 patients that’s 30% more than the total patients than last year through the social service department. Our outreach projects have changed lives of Filipinos by twofold, that’s 5,657 patients. Students who have benefited from Medical Scholarship and Continuing Medical Education program now total 167 since we began the scholarship. We are eternally grateful to the incredible generosity of those who have contributed to this year’s funding milestone. So many more lives have been changed because of all of you. Sincerely, FREDERICK Y. DY ARTURO S. DE LA PEÑA, MD, FPCS, FACS Chairman of the Board President 01
