My favorite authors Mighty Oak Literacy Fest 2021
Books & authors Books are big oceans of knowledge. I prefer books more than digital stuff. There are various books, with various stories, with various genres. Each one us like particular types of books. We all enjoy books and there is lot of hard work done behind that masterpiece. We all have to appreciate the hard work done by authors. Speaking of authors reminds me of my favorite authors. Do you have any? I do and now I want to share about my favorite authors!
My favorite authors: Rj Palacio, Enid Blyton, Carolyn Keene & Ruskin Bond
RJ PALACIO Raquel Jaramillo Palacio (born on July 13, 1963 in Queens, New York, United States) is an American author and graphic designer for more than 20 years. R.J. Palacio illustrated other authors’ work as well as her own projects. She was perhaps best-known for writing the book Wonder (2012), which was turned into a major motion picture in 2017.She was a recipient of the Christopher Award for Wonder in 2013, and the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Children's Book Award in 2014. Wonder was on The New York Times Best Seller list and was also on the Texas Bluebonnet Award master list. She connects to me really well and the way she thinks…..I have no words.
Enid Blyton Enid Mary Blyton (11 August 1897 in East Dulwich, London, United Kingdom – 28 November 1968) was an English children's writer whose books have been among the world's best-sellers since the 1930s, selling more than 600 million copies.Blyton's first book, Child Whispers, a 24-page collection of poems, was published in 1922.Blyton worked in a wide range of fictional genres, from fairy tales to animal, nature, detective, mystery, and circus stories, but she often \"blurred the boundaries\" in her books, and encompassed a range of genres even in her short stories. In the 2008 Costa Book Awards, Enid Blyton was voted the best-loved author, ahead of Roald Dahl, JK Rowling and Shakespeare. - 573 titles credited to her over a 45 year career with an average of 16 titles published per year! She connects to me really well and she thinks in a way which dazzels me.
Carolyn Keene Carolyn keene was born on 10 July 1905 in Ladora, Iowa, United States and died on 28 May 2002. She lived for 96 years. Carolyn Keene is the pseudonym of the authors of the Nancy Drew mystery stories and The Dana Girls mystery stories. Carolyn writes only books related to mystery. Carolyn won the Malice Domestic Award for Lifetime Achievement and Special Edgars Award. She makes sure that she gives a lot of suspense which made me complete a whole novel of hers in a day.
Ruskin Bond Ruskin Bond (born 19 May 1934 in Kasauli, Punjab States Agency, British India) is an Indian author of British descent.Bond has written hundreds of short stories, essays, novels and books for children. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014. The first book of Bond is The Room on the Roof. The thing that surprise me is that he just thinks like a kid. His books are awesome.
