Key words Learning ecosystem. Full ICT. Technology. Professional development. COVID-19 pandemic. Acronyms ICTs – information and communication technologies 4IR – forth industrial revolution Description of learning ecosystem Our learning ecosystem is in a public school in the Northwest in a village. The school has Grade R to Grade 7 pupils. Majority of the teachers are almost near their pension and only 3 young teachers. Majority of the learners come from unprivileged backgrounds and a village that have issues with service delivery. 2|Page
SECTION 1: THE ESSAY INTRODUCTION The world is changing rapidly, so schools must adapt. The pandemic has opened the eyes of the world of education to the fact that education is shifting to online learning rather than face-to-face learning. The COVID19 pandemic has created a major paradigm shift in education and learning. In our case, we have succeeded in identifying the shortcomings, weaknesses, and weaknesses of the education and learning ecosystem. This essay will describe a re-imagined future learning ecosystem that has been redesigned for the learning ecosystem. This topic is important because the future of education must change. What is the learning ecosystem? According to Eudy (2018), \"The learning ecosystem is a system of people, content, technology, culture, and strategy that exists inside and outside an organization and influences the organization's formal and informal.\" The sudden emergence of the COVID 19 pandemic, where learners endured the transition to online learning and teachers began to use more technical devices, poses some challenges to the education system in South Africa and around the world. .. Parents and guardians were soon forced to become teachers all night and had to help their children with online education and learning. In addition, some teachers feel a bit disadvantaged by the ecosystem because they do not have proper or reliable access to technology infrastructures such as laptops and computers, and they do not have the proper network connectivity to reach their students. I did. The learning ecosystem has the following implications: It enables collaboration by facilitating experiences, exchanging ideas, and opportunities for growth. Improve employee productivity. Monitor and track learning progress and identify potential improvements. Finally, empower employees by providing access to relevant learning materials and courses. Digital Transformation Trends and Strategies in Education: Leverage technology to enable classroom coaching EdTech model conversion Transform the way you teach and learn. 3|Page
The redesigned learning ecosystem recognizes the growing need for cognitive agility. In short, learning is a lifelong experience with continuous growth. In order for learners to learn effectively and efficiently, they need to be tailored to their unique characteristics, skills, interests and needs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAb_kuDGyzA Bronfenbrenner (1977) suggested that the child's environment is a nested arrangement of structures (microsystems, mesosystems, exosystems, macrosystems, chronosystems), each containing each other. He arranged them in order of their impact on the child. Bronfenbrenner’s theory is suitable for the re- imagined future learning ecosystem of our learning ecosystem can extend the learners’ exosystem to include social media, video games, and other modern interactions. It's a perfect theory. A place where the newly designed learning ecosystem leads Our re-imagined future learning ecosystem is described in four components: 4|Page
CONTENT Theodotou (2020) \"The learning content of the learning ecosystem includes learning courses offered by the organization, eg informal and formal learning.\" Our learning ecosystem still uses traditional learning standards that are outdated. The redesigned learning ecosystem requires teachers to transform the way they teach and learn in order to use them: video integration for online learning, AR / VR-based learning, gaming, A predictive learning, interactive video and media, intelligent exam portals and learning experience platforms. PEOPLE 5|Page
Theodotou (2020) declares that \"people in the learning ecosystem are the main beneficiaries of our organization's learning ecosystem.\" In our case its the teachers, learners, parents, district officials, and the community as a whole in our learning ecosystem. When teachers and learners get along, it has a positive impact on parents. Parents play an important role in the development of the learner's child's learning experience. Learners also play important roles in crowdsourcing, peer-to- peer, and collaborative learning. The 4IR approach requires teachers to attend computer workshops and e-learning training courses to adapt and become accustomed to ICT. Also, the teacher must have a Microsoft certificate. Teachers need to be empowered and trained to take full advantage of this new learning experience. LEARNING CULTURE Our redesigned learning ecosystem creates a new learning culture by providing support for teachers to integrate new learning methods. e.g libraries, museums and other civic and cultural institutions, must become full-fledged participants in learning networks. TECHNOLOGY \"The most viable technology to support and promote the learning ecosystem is the Learning Experience Platform (LXP),\" said Theodotou (2020). Deloitte's Bersin defines \"LXP\" as single-point access. This is a consumer-grade system that can curate and aggregate content. Learning and creating a career path. Enable the network. Skill development improvements; track multiple learning activities from multiple channels and content partners. \" Access to resources such as reliable WiFi, hardware, applications, and high-quality content. All teachers and learners need a sufficient level of media, digital and social-emotional abilities to learn confidently through multiple media. CONCLUSION Traditional learning methods have no chance in today's world. The Covid19 pandemic opened the eyes of the educational world when the world stagnated, and schools had to be closed. The world is changing at a very fast pace, so it is very important for schools to make continuous learning a very important part of their 6|Page
culture. This can be achieved by using technology to empower teachers and learners to adapt to change. 7|Page

SECTION 3 EXAMPLER OF OUR RE-IMAGINED LEARNING ECOSYSTEM Our re-imagined learning ecosystem looks a whole lot like the picture above, where teachers will be given regular workshops on learning ICT skills for example using the projector. With all these workshops teachers will be getting it will make it easy for the to be able to integrate ICT in their classrooms, and they will be confident in such a way that ICT resources won’t scare them. They would be empowered and adapting to change. 9|Page
