Benedict CampusReception Excursion Games ClubLast Friday was a full day of beach exploration, bus rides andfeeding farm animals for our Reception students. A great day This term students in Year 6 have started aof learning and fun! Games Club in the Library every Wednesday at lunchtime. The activities available to boarders have grown, with many now participating in netball, boxing and fishing. My gratitude is extended to the teaching staff that volunteer their time to support Salesian House staff in offering these experiences to our students. Student leaders lead Catholic Education Week activities Last week schools across the Port Pirie diocese celebrated our Catholic Faith and Mission during Catholic Education Week. Over the course of the week our community participated in a range of activities to raise much needed funds for the Good Samaritan Sisters of Kiribati. Year 12 leaders led the activities, as they continue to build and nurture a place of hope. Their leadership inspires action and invites us to examine heart and contemplate our part in service outreach. I extend a special thanks to the Year 12 leaders, House representatives and House Leaders. Ardia Mead As a community, we extend our congratulations to Ardia Mead who was announced SA Regional Athlete by Tennis SA and the Ken McGregor Foundation. Ardia has represented the State in many competitions and regional Tournaments and in the coming months is scheduled to play at various Metro tournaments.
