Reminder August meeting cancelled; speaker and class postponed until January. President’s PieceJust came back from a week of quilting in the mountains; it was great to spend time with friends andquilt while we enjoyed the cool mountain air. I came back refreshed and anxious to attack myUFO's. I'm challenging myself to see what I can get done before our next meeting. Speaking ofmeetings, thanks to everyone for tolerating the lack of a/c at our July meeting; we kept the agenda shortdue to the warmth, but we were still able to enjoy the Christmas in July demos. The good news is - thea/c has been fixed! We should be more comfortable at our next meeting in September.Lots of things for you to think about:- Challenge quilts are due in September - are you working on it? (I haven't started ,,,, it's in my UFOpile to be attacked.) - We are still looking into the possibility of scheduling a re-sale event, possibly in the fall. If you areinterested in helping to organize it, let me know. - We need to form a committee to start thinking about our next quilt show; it's a long way off, but it'snot too soon to start planning. See me if you would like to be involved. - The nominating committee needs your help to name a slate of officers for next year. Please considerbeing a part of the board. Contact Dianne Brisson.
