DepartmentofManagementStudies DepartmentofManagementstudies(DMS)cravedhistorybyforming the first Management program in the Union Territory ofPondicherrry.Forthe pastthree decades,ithasbeentailoringtotheneedsof aspiring management and research students with a highly adaptable team offaculties comprising 8 Professors, I Associate Professor and 4 AssistantProfessors.The studentsofDMSform an absolute heterogeneous group, gathering from every corner of the countrylookslike a mini India. Students from foreignnationsaregiven opportunities to understandandperceive diverse culture and behavior. The department has been ratedveryhighbymany rating agencies such as STAR NEW S, Indian Express,Business India, India Today,CSR-GHRD and manyothers.TheDMScurriculum is adapted towards the ongoing changesofindustriesandintroducesnew electives every now and then based on industryneeds. The course comprises Foundational(eg:Business Environmental)papers,Fundamental(eg:Law)subjects, intermingling (eg:Strategic Management) subjects and Functional electives(eg:Marketing,Finance,Operation,HRandtheirelectives).
