COLLEGE EVENTS MAIC OUTREACH JCI RAIPUR MAIC UNITED PROGRAMS Lo Officers Training Program (5th-6th March) 17 Members attended lo officers training program at Raipur and won achievement of golden registration and early bird. International Women's Day (8th March) Celebrated International Women’s Day by organising a training program for girls on the topic “Women Empowerment” by Prov.Zone Trainer JCI Sen Jaya Arora. Lo Development Mgmt Training (16th March) Conducted Lo Development Management Training in which trainer ZVP JC CA Ashish Agrawal trained lo officers on the benefits of JCI and about the leadership ladder. One Lo One Sustainable Project (31st March) For the “One Lo One Sustainable Project” by JCI India our chapter contributed by collecting e waste in which members donated E waste from their home to college which will be recycled and prove an environment friendly practice World Health Day (7th April) On the occasion of World health Day, Chapter organised a Zumba Session for all the students of college in which more than 150 participants took part making it a huge success. Yeah Shaam Mastani (14th April) Chapter organised a get together with members of Chitvan Old age Home named “Ye Sham Mastani” in which members spend an evening with dynamic members of citvan by playing games,enjoying songs dancing and merry making. World Earth Day (22nd April) Celebrated Earth Day by Gifting and planting saplings and spreading awareness among the members and other students of the college. 2

COLLEGE EVENTS MAIC OUTREACH Award Distribution Ceremony Rover & Ranger Events Conducted Asia Pacific region Scout Foundation MAIC Organized a Outreach Program on GST Felicitation and MAIC award Ceremony session 2021-22 on 3rd March at MAIC Auditorium. Maharaja Agrasen International College, Samta Colony organized a outreach program on GST on 16th March 2022. The session was taken by Hon’ble Water Distribution Kiosk Shri S. L. Dewangan, Superintendant (Audit), Audit Commissionerate, Raipur. He simplified the GST for the students and explained them the importance of GST. Installated Water distribution Kiosk at Amleshwar Speaker started with explaining the difference between Tax and fees. He elaborated which was inaugurated by Hon'ble G Swamy, District the types of taxes prevalent in India. Students get the exposure about introduction President Bharat Scout and Guide, Raipur, (CG) of GST in the country, how power and duties are divided among the states and More than 30 rover and rangers participanted in this union. Students also come to know about the concept of concurrent list. Some event. commodities are not covered in the list of GST items, so how their taxes are being decided was also explained to students. Save the Bird Campaign Toppers Talk Session Conducted in MAIC On 3 April 2022 Rover Rangers Members organised \"Save the Bird Campaign\" MAIC College conducted a session based on Handling Exams with confidence titled in which they fed birds and provided bird home “Toppers Talk”. The session was organised by the Commerce Department of the for their shelter. College. The successful Ex-student Mr. Ashish Kumar Jha and Meritorious student of M.com Final year, Kriti Agarwal were invited by the college authorities for conducting the session. Both the students shared their experience of hard work and determination which resulted in their success stories. They gave tips to the junior students on how they can adopt guidelines from their teachers and improvise on presentation skills. The Topper students guided the junior students on time management Stress busters, Timetable preparation etc. They suggested that synopsis preparation is important in theory subjects and the step wise working is important in practical subject Session on “Startups” & Guest Lecture on “Govt Industries Policies & Start Ups” Maharaja Agrasen International College Samta Colony Raipur, organized a session on “Industrial Policies and Start Ups” for management students on 9th April The guest speaker was Hon’ble Shri Sanjay Ghajghate (Joint Director, Directorate of Industries, Udyog Bhawan). The Speaker communicated to students about start ups and stand Ups. He told student about various schemes by central and state Government. He explained the sources of revenue generation – manufacturing, service and trading sector. He explained the system of industrial zones and also explained the various facilities provided by Government in these industrial zones. 3
