AEGIS Aegis is an imaginary health organization that is introduced in Graphic Design course given by Industrial Design Department of METU. Aegis collects information about its users by a band on their wrists. With this band, Aegis provide taking precautions and warn its users about their health issues. The brief about the brand was to seem serious and related to health. Since the brand’s Aegis Band is an important production, I used it as the main element of the branding and created a graphic language between serious and fun due to the advertising of the band is also important. Logo The a-shaped logo has the form of the band that circles the wrist. To give the notion of the ‘health’, I used this cool tone of green. BRANDING Stationery To add some fun to the identity, I created a pattern consisting of the parts of the logo. I used it as a covering pattern in back face of the cards and inside of the envelopes. Also, to break the boring notion of the cool green, orange is used as the second color in branding.

Promotional Products In further steps of branding, I was asked to present promotional products related to the field and vision of the company. At that point, I imagined a healthy image that Aegis has a point on. Their main product is Aegis Band, however they suggest healthy products such as healthy meals, face masks etc. I chose some taglines to be placed on packaging such as ‘east healthy we take care of you’ to create a vision that provide people take care of their health in addition to Aegis’s precautions. While deciding the material of the packaging they use, I chose paper due to its recycling benefits. Thus, they take care of nature besides of its users. On packaging, I used the same pattern but monochrome and add an orange line between the tagline and the pattern. Advertising I designed billboard posters that can be located in different areas of the city. In these posters, we see famous figures with an orange band on their wrists with a patterned background. On top, there is a tagline ‘we take care of you’. I used such figures in advertising to create more remarkable posters in addition to Liberty Statue in invitation card.

EBSITES sherunsforever.com sherunsforever is the personal brand of Turkish athlete Elif Numanoglu, a marathon, triathlon and trail runner. Her aim is encouraging women to take role in sports and a gender-neutral arena in sports also. Thus, I chose gender-neutral colors and created an inspiring interface for her website. This website is multifunctional due to being her personal website and including online shop of sherunsforever gear. There are four pages in addition to homepage such as About, Blog, Gear and Contact. In her brief, she explained that she wants to share her projects and news about her, also.
