Five gardens throw open their gates Tucked away in the back streets of Old Lonsdale is a magical retreat – a blissful meditation garden behind a high wall, with a meandering creek bed, billabong and waterfall. Rich ochre-coloured rocks, sourced from the western district, provide a sculptural centrepiece to a fusion of native plants, vegetable beds and fruit trees.
