She would help anyone and went out of her way to run errands for neighbours. The funeral was held at Nebo Chapel, Efailwen which is close to where she lived. Platinum Eco-Award –After a very rigorous assessment by three assessors from Eco-Schools Wales we passed our Platinum Eco-Award with outstanding features. This is the highest level to be achieved within the Eco-Schools Wales scheme so we are rightly proud! German Trainee Teachers – In the summer term we welcomed two trainee teachers from Wuppertal University, Germany – Marlene Balling and Kristina Batzgen. They worked in Class 5 and 6 respectively and had a very positive impact on our school. They ran a German club in their lunchtimes and helped out in so many different ways.
