Rests on the saving grace of God through Jesus! Matthew 5:48 1 Peter 1:16 Romans 3:23 Galatians 3:10 1 Peter 3:18 2 Corinthians 5:21 Romans 10:9 Ephesians 2:8-9 Romans 8:9 Galatians 2:20
Consists of these three main things: “Do not worship any other god!” “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name!” “Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” “For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” “For this is the message... that we should love one another.” “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Strives to uphold these fundamental Goals & Values: to be... F Faithful to Christ and my local Church; I Interactive through Small Groups; R Redemptive as a Witness for Jesus; S Serving according to my SHAPE; T Transformed by God’s Spirit & His Word. B Bible (the) is our completely reliable and authoritative source for faith and practice. A Autonomy of the local church means that Christ is the Head of our church. P Priesthood indicates that every believer has equal standing and access to God. T Tithing (giving 10% of income) is a good beginning point of biblical stewardship. I Immersion under the water as a symbol of saving faith is our practice of baptism. S Spirit-led living denotes that we depend on the power of God’s Spirit for Christian fruit. T Telling others about Jesus is the mandate for every true believer.
unityRevolves around two major devotions:ministry By Demonstrating Love to one another in Christ! By Exercising Forgiveness to one another in Christ! By Practicing Prayer for one another in Christ! By Attending Sunday School and Worship Faithfully! By Giving Cheerfully and Consistently as a Good Steward! By Using My Gifts and Talents to Serve Others!
Invites you to consider becoming a member: Because God expects every Christian to unite with a local body of believers! Because a Christian without a church family is like an orphan! Because God’s Word commands us to be actively committed to one another! By professing faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior and obeying Him in Believer’s Baptism. By indicating that you are led to join FBK from another Baptist church. By stating that you have previously experienced saving faith and scriptural baptism, and that you are now led to join FBK. After understanding the above information, you should communicate to the pastor, ministerial staff, or a church leader about your readiness to join. You may share this decision in person or by contacting any leader by cell phone or email. A specific worship service will be determined by which you can be presented for membership.
