Naomi has specialised in assisting professionals transition from one career to another, whilst they maintain; life, financial, environmental and wellbeing goals for the last 10 years, as well as design the EAP and Outplacement Programs initiated throughout Australia. Naomi has been nominated for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year 2017. Gene Johnson PhD – Head Psychologist Gene is an Organisational Psychologist with 25 years of experience in corporate consultancy, government, and academic sectors. Gene has extensive experience in assessment and leadership development, including managing Ford Motor Company’s outsourced People & Business Solutions, and working as the director of Dell’s EMEA Talent Management. Gene has strong experience working with long-term unemployed who face major challenges as they move back into the workforce. Gene is certified to use a variety of vocational and psychometric clinical testing His most recent work was with the staff of the United Nations. SERVICE DELIVERY METHODOLOGYQuality Control and SupervisionPhase 1 RecruitmentWhen recruiting, emphasis is placed on the recruitment of high caliber personnel with suitablequalifications and proven experience.Prospective contractors are interviewed personally by a panel of our Management selected byDirector Naomi Pearce, to ensure they will carry the vision of Total Focus Australia forward, and toensure they are personable and capable of meeting Total Focus Australia’s values and standards ofcare and quality, and professional experience.Contractors are provided with copies of our HR Policy and Procedure Manual, as well as all otherappropriate policies, to ensure they understand expectations.All our contractors go through induction and training sessions to ensure they understand ourphilosophy and execute their work professionally in accordance.Phase 2 SupervisionNew coaching and counselling contractors are supervised closely for the first three months by theCoaching Coordinator, and facilitators and other contractors are supervised by the Research andDevelopment Manager. This ensures they are executing all aspects of their work to our highstandards and boutique philosophies.Phase 3 ReviewReviews of the service delivery of contractors occurs every 3 months to ensure they are resourced,up to date with appropriate registrations and training, meeting the expectations of clients andupholding governance standards.Contractors are required every 12 months to participate in our in-service training, and with their ownprofessional organizational workshops and training.Feedback ChecksEvery client is invited at the conclusion of the provision of services to provide feedback on theservices they have received. The Focus Person will allocate the client available sessions, or book in appointments with the assistance of Administrative Staff where necessary to ensure times and locations are available.9. Administrative assistants will assist the Focus Person in confirming on-going appointments with the client, and ensuring the Focus Person has the materials/resources needed to complete the services.10. At the conclusion of the services, the client will be provided with a report, depending on the service, and an invitation to provide feedback.11. The referrer will be provided a report of the outcome of the services, omitting confidential information.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENTInformation SystemsTotal Focus Australia uses a file sharing network to collect, store and organise our information andfiles. Files are hold on our computer system for easy access by our staff, and most information apartfrom sensitive and confidential information is entered into our system from client files. Physical files arekept securely when stored in the office, or are held under the care of the treating professional.Database ManagementTotal Focus Australia’s database is carefully managed and organised to make sure resources and filesare easily accessible and stored correctly.
