First Presbyterian has a diverse and wide-reaching ministry footprint. We serve and shepherd our congregation, facilitate and partner with local outreach ministries, and support missionaries and churches throughout the world. Below is our typical annual budget allocations: ‣ 50% for Worship & Music, Operations & Support ‣ 30% to World Missions, Mercy & Outreach programs ‣ 20% towards Camp Vesper Point, Children & Youth, Discipleship & Care PLACES TO GIVE THE GENERAL FUND This fund, also known as the Deacon’s Budget, supports the church’s day-to-day ministries such as worship, discipleship, outreach, and operations. Giving to this fund allows us to meet the spiritual needs of the congregation and be salt and light to our city. WORLD MISSIONS World Missions is funded by the members and friends of the church — separately from the General Fund. Through the targeted selection and funding of missionaries, indigenous church planters, short-term teams, and projects, the ministry promotes the establishment and growth of indigenous-led churches and movements in strategic global cities. CAMP VESPER POINT CAPITAL FUND Has CVP impacted your life or the life of a family member or friend? Designate your gift to update or upgrade our Camp facilities. No gift is too small…or too large to be put to good use to expand the ministry of Camp Vesper Point. OTHER SPECIFIED GIVING Gifts can be designated for many of the ministries of First Presbyterian.
