RIZAL'S BLOODLINE
2022
FOREWORD We all started as nothing, knowing nothing except for the crying, drinking milk, and sleeping. The first time that we open our eyes, as well as people, hear our cries, is also the first time we have been allowed to learn something. It also applies to our hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, who began his life the same way we did. The people who surround us, especially our family, guide and nurture us to be where we are right now. Our family became the witness of every first in our lives, problems, and difficulties and who supported us when everyone turned their back on us. Rizal's Bloodline is a digital portfolio about one of the most well-known families in the Philippines, the Rizal family, from whom the Philippines National Hero originated. Understanding who our National Hero is doesn't end by knowing him only through his name but also by tracking down his family, who supported him throughout his journey. Rizal's Bloodline will allow us to learn about the personal lives and significant accomplishments of the people behind our hero's life. All of us will have the chance to know who our hero and his family is. Note: Some of the information in this portfolio is not mine. All credits to the rightful owners. For education purpose only.

message from the researcher “ Hello everyone! I am Jonalyn Asi, a first-year student from Batangas State University, Alangilan Campus taking Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. I am currently taking the course Life and Works of Rizal in my summer class when I was task to create a portfolio about the family of Rizal. It was difficult for me to decide what to do about this task at first, until I came up with the idea of creating a digital portfolio and entitled it Rizal's Bloodline. Upon making this portfolio, I have learned how each family member of Rizal contributes throughout his journey. They become Rizal's support system and inspiration to keep going even if their life is at stake. Despite the challenges that they have encountered, they remained strong to withstand all of them. That's why getting to know Jose's parents and his siblings will be a great honor to all of us, as it will help us know Jose Rizal more. In addition, their family will make us realize how important a family is and that we should treasure ours. I did take a lot of time to research all of the information written ” on it and edit the entire portfolio, so I hope you all finished it all the way to the end to learn more about our National Hero and his bloodline.
