Ms. Monica Chopra Poet/Author/Blogger Ghaziabad, India Technology in Education Technology now plays a vital role in learning and is also considered to be a new subject of education because it is equally important. even a fundamental part of education. To reach every resource like digging information about facts to understand till justification of facts “Everything is Possible”only with the help of various technologies. It has made an education just at a click, with a feature of numerous choices to clear our doubts. Since March’2020 the schools have been closed and the only possible way of education was through online mode. 04
mode.Technology has not only rescued students from being uneducated but have made education possible during COVID crisis. Many new technologies are being used in classrooms today: social networking, online teaching, class blogs, podcasting, interactive whiteboards, and mobile devices. The mode of education is not same, it has changed continuously; earlier, there were no books or notebooks, students use to learn whatever their teacher use to teach in the class itself. Slowly paper and pen were invented and slowly the process moved and today we have technology on our doorstep. It is helping students to develop interest and learn new things. Nowadays a newly born child gets used to a mobile phone and when kids will get their education on these platforms, they adapt it quickly.Modern technology has made it so much easier to obtain educational information for classroom or homework assignments. It offers educational games that stimulate the brain and help children who have difficulties focusing on traditional teaching and learning procedures. Advances in technology and computers will continue to play an important role in education for many generations to come.In words of Bill Gates,an American business magnate, investor, philanthropist, and author. “Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is most important.” 05
Ms. Saima Amir Teacher/Content Writer Ontario Learning Centre UAE Importance of ME Why do we as a mother feel hesitant and regret taking time out sometime for ourselves? Although this is a viable truth that a mother carries an enormous amount of responsibilities on her shoulders, however, no one denies the value of self care and mindfulness. Undoubtedly, if your soul is as positive and healthy as your environment a positive vibe would be enough to energize others around you. On the contrary, a lethargic, robotic, and dull body results in extra energy being needed for each menial task. On a daily basis, we are given a plethora of tasks that need to be fulfilled, but have you ever thought about your own sanity and satisfaction? Most of our routine tasks have deadlines that need to be met, but how are we expected to meet them if our bodies are too tired to function? It’s never too late, take out some leisure time for yourself in order to nurture and groom your soul. This approach is not only beneficial for yourself, but also for your loved ones. Subsequently, we will be able to complete our collective task more productively. Indulge yourself in any activity that provides mental peace and happy thoughts for a healthy body and soul. For example, book reading, diary writing, shopping, self-grooming, arts & crafts, and socializing with your friends etc.Prioritize yourself and understand the importance of ‘Me’ because you can’t enjoy the future if you don’t take care of yourself in the past. So don’t hesitate to take care of yourself and always remember that your happiness is closely related to others happiness! 06
