I have had an opportunity to lead at all levels of an organization from individual contributor, to group leader, to manager, and most recently at the executive level. Through my journeyman experiences, I became knowledgeable in how to work across lines of business, preparing me for the next level of leadership as a group leader. While working for DOJ, I led a group of employees in the staffing of United States Attorneys. At the manager level of my leadership journey, I was the Branch Chief of Student Programs at the State Department. I was responsible for implementing through 15 FTEs, the Department’s recruitment program with a $1.6 million budget and the agency’s liaison to the NFL and NBA to broaden sportsmanship, educational and cultural awareness. I managed $6 million in federal contracts earning me the 2008 Inroads Business Coordinator of the Year Award. In July 2011, I was hired by the OCC as the Senior Human Resources Consultant and Advisor to the Deputy Comptroller for Midsize and Community Bank Supervision in the Northeastern District, and the Deputy Comptroller for Human Capital. In 2014, I was awarded the Presidential Award for Outstanding Achievement and Service to America by the 525 Philanthropy Club.
