NEWS PAPER THE WESTING GAME The Westing Game is a book about mystery, more specifically murder, writen by the American author Ellen Raskin. Everything starts with the salesman Bartney Northrup who succesfully rented all Sunset Towers but one renters was a mistake. Days later, the millionare Sam Westing is found dead which lead to the distribution of his furtune. Surprisingly all the heirs were the rents of Sunset Towers. In the will Sam Westing states that his life was taken by one of the heirs, which indicates that he was murdered (spoiler alert), but later in the story it is discovered that his death wasn`t true. Each pair is given a 10,000 dollar check and a set of clues for the game, and then it all begins. Further in the story, the pairs start investing their money to discover the killer/murder. Some of the most commont suspects were Sydelle Pulaski, Otis Amber, among others. Reaching the end of the book all the heirs dicide to share thir clues given to find an answer to the game, but time was short and the end line of the game was close, they didn`t have enough time to have a common answer so each pair gives it own, but nobody was correct. Only one heir had thought about the correct answer, it was Turtle Wexler. Sandy Mcsouthers had passed away meanwhile everyone thought about another answer, and the Turtle dicides to gather all the heirs to solve the game, and she does it succesfully so that means she won the game. At the end it is discovered (spoiler alert) Sam Westing wasn`t murdered ,he was just changing identity several times in between 4 people. 276 WORDS O1
