Dunes International School Academic Session 2020-21 Glimpses of Grade 3 Virtual Learning July 2020



































Vocabulary 4 Square This is a graphic organizer known as 4 Square. It is an effective way to learn and practice vocabulary. Students were asked to write the vocabulary word in the center of the square, and then write the definition, a sentence that uses the word, a synonym/antonym, and a picture in the other squares. It promoted critical thinking and helped them to identify and understand unfamiliar vocabulary.

GROUP ACTIVITY IN PADLET: In grade 3 English class students have joyfully enjoyed their story reflection using the online plat form PADLET.

Use of Padlet in English

Students of grade 3 summarized the lesson using online comic creator. It was an effective platform because they engaged students in meaningful learning experiences where they get to practice key skills such as writing, reading and communicating.

Flipgrid allows learners of all ages to find their voices, share their voices, and respect the diverse voices of others. It helps students build and strengthen social learning communities as they discuss their ideas and experiences with their peers. Flipgrid amplifies student voice and supports student development of global empathy as they immerse themselves in each other’s learning processes





















Use of Padlet Students used different online platforms to explore their knowledge on the topic ‘Addition’. Students solved puzzles and integrated that topic with UAE. Students enjoyed their activities and shared their information and pictures using that platforms.
