Scripture Reference Guide Isaiah 9:6-7 – Opening Scripture For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7) Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of host will perform this. Amos 5:4, 14, 24 – US Government – Ruling in Righteousness For thus saith the Lord unto the House of Israel, See, ye me and ye shall live: 14) Seek good and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. 24) But let judgement run down as waters and righteousness as a mighty stream. Deuteronomy 11:8-15 – Nation’s Economy – Land of Prosperity Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; 9) And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey. 10) For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, form whence ye cam out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and waterest it with thy foot, as a garden of herb: 11) But the land whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven. 12) A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it; from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. 13) And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command ye this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14) That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. 15) And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest et and be full. Isaiah 37:33-36 – USA Safety & Protection – God is our Defense Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. 34) By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city saithe the Lord. 35) For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake. 36) Then the angel of the Lord went for, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. Isaiah 40:1-5 – Ecclesia “The Church” – Restore the Waste Places Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. 2) Speak comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. 3) The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4) Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill hall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5) And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. 3
Deuteronomy 10:12-13, 10:16-22 - Families of the Earth - God Fearing Families And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his way, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 13) To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good. 16) Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. 17) For the Lord your God is God of gods, and the Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons nor taketh reward: 18) He doth execute the judgement of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. 19) Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. 20) Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. 21) He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen. 22) Thy father went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons, and now the Lord thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude. Isaiah 35:4-10 - Salvation, Healing, Deliverance - Redemption Package Say unto them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 5) then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6) then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 7) And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. 8) And an highway shall be there, a way and it shall be called The way of holiness, the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men though fools, shall not err therein. 9) No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: 10) And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with sons and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Psalm 118:1-6 - Prayer of Thanksgiving - Move the Hand of God O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. 2) Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 3) Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 4) Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever. 5) I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. 6) The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Numbers 6:24-27 – Benediction - Release the Blessing The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25) The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26) The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27) And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. 4
