Choose the automatic translation software you prefer. Now when you speak, you should hear a computer voice in the selected language.Warning! So, click Stop and Start if listening to the TTS through your device’sloudspeakers.ADDING ANOTHER PERSONPerson with own device: A second person can do exactly as above if they have their own device. To talk with you, they will “Join session” after they log in rather than start a session.Talking on the same device: The above is the ideal scenario: a second person with own device and headset orearbuds/microphone. However if you are sitting or standing next to someone with whom you want to communicate, youcan use your laptop, tablet or smartphone and add a second person to your own device. Click on the button at the top ofthe page \"Add person on this device\". Enter the information about the other person. Now you will see 2 buttons at thetop of the page: one button with your name and one button with the name of the other person. Touch your button tospeak in your language. Touch the other button for the other person to speak in their language. Warning: If you wantto have 2 people on same device, you may use any laptop except Linux, and 70% of mobile e.g. Samsung, Android, butnot iPad or Microsoft.QUICK SENTENCESIf you only want to exchange quick little sentences: a) If you have Samsung, Android, etc., then “Add another person to your device” (per above) then from the Type or Speak dropdown select Google Speech. You may or may not need to select the language each time someone speaks. b) If you want to use TYWI on iPhone or iPad, both of which are not compatible with TYWI’s Cloud Recognition, try using the device’s built-in speech recognition. When you touch a TYWI web field, a keyboard will appear on your device. Look around for the icon of a microphone and tap it. When you speak, your voice becomes text and is translated. Warning: Each device will only recognize 1 language using the built-in speech recognition, and that language may not be the translation language. Moreover, the other person may not have speech recognition in their language on their device. That is why TYWI offers the “2 people on one device” feature – to assure that you have speech recognition in all major languages.HELP AND HOW-TO INSTRUCTIONS a) After you log in, on the left side of every page is a link that says “How-To Manual”. This is available in a few languages (more coming). Can be viewed online or downloaded. b) There are over 50 mini-instructional movies on TYWI. Click on information icons c) Email questions to: [email protected] d) Across-langauge Tech Support will soon be available in 78 languages. e) Do not telephone. Anyone who telephones will be shot.ABOUT IPAD, IPHONE, SAFARI, AND INTERNET EXPLORERAt this time, iPad, iPhone, Safari and Internet Explorer do not yet include a new browser feature called\"WebRTC\". WebRTC will be on every device within the next year, but is a slow process. Google Chrome, Firefox, alllaptops (except Linux), all Android, Samsung, etc. already have WebRTC and are therefore enabled for all features ofTranslate Your World. To use TYWI with non-WebRTC devices, a feature called “VOIP” has been added that will functionas of May 2015. The Team at www.TranslateYourWorld.com
