We can prevent it by changing eating habits, not smoking, not drinking, doing self-exploration and exercise. Common risk factors include race (African American are more susceptible) Age 60+, Diet and family history. Prostate cancer is often treated by radiation therapy, chemotherapy by urologists and radiation oncologists. We can prevent it by exercising more, reducing calcium intake, avoiding cigarettes and eating more green veggies. After prostate surgery ejaculation is impossible because the seminal are removed and this obviously leads to loss of fertility. Some risk factors are having too many sexual partners, early sexual activity (as early as age 14), smoking, chlamydia infection and long-term use of oral contraceptives. Cervical cancer is treated by radiation therapy, chemotherapy or radical hysterectomy. It can be prevented by abstinence, using condon when having sex, taking the HPV Vaccine and not smoking

Other reproductive system diseases Some risk factors are Age 50+, Obesity, Race (White women susceptible), genetics, having diabetes. Uterine cancer is treated with radical hysterectomy and it can be prevented by taking birth control pills, mantaining a healthy weight and mantaining good control of the blood (if diabetic)STDS Sexually transmitted diseases are infectious diseases that spread from person to person through intimate contact. They develop in the reproductive system and some of them arechlamydia gonorrhea herpescaused by the bacterium  caused by the bacterium  caused by the Herpes Chlamydia trachomatis Neisseria gonorrhoeae Simplex Virus (HSV). All of these STDS can be prevented by using contraceptives. There are about 15 different types of contraceptives which allow you to enjoy sex with lower risk of getting infected. Some examples are condoms, the diaphragm, birth control pills, implants, IUDs (intrauterine devices), sterilization and the emergency contraceptive pill.

CONCLUSION BIOLOGY II INTEGRATIVE PRODUCT Taking care of our health is really important because when we take care of our health we are also improving our life quality and adding years to our life expectancy. We can take care of our health with a good nutrition, paying attention to what we eat and avoiding fast foods and all of the fatty foods. We can be so healthy if we don’ t consume any type of alcohol, drugs or tobacco because as I have mentioned before in the booklet almost all cancer types’ risk factors are linked to smoking/drinking. It is also important to have all cancer’s information such as risk factors, treatment and prevention because an early exam can save our lives! Concluding this project I decided that I will take every decision with responsibility, putting my health first. Always.  Referenceshttp://www.niams.nih.gov/health_info/bone/bone_health/bone_health_for_life.asphttp://www.symptomfind.com/health/differencebetweenoverweightandobesity/http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthylifestyle/adulthealth/indepth/skincare/art20048237http://health.howstuffworks.com/skincare/information/anatomy/carefortheepidermis.htmhttp://www.healthline.com/health/skindisordershttp://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfacts/ritalin/theviciouseffectsofprescriptionstimulants.htmlhttp://www2.courtinfo.ca.gov/stopteendui/teens/resources/substances/hallucinogens/shortandlongtermeffects.cfmhttp://www.mayoclinic.org/diseasesconditions/highbloodpressure/basics/definition/con20019580https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/anemia.htmlhttp://www.cancer.net/cancertypes/uterinecancer/riskfactorsandprevention
