CMS working procedureTo create Traffic advice for Passenger Crew: Coaching Loco SUP Traffic Advice ( Fill details as shown in the figure) Submit

To Book a Passenger Crew Coaching Loco TNC Crew Booking Select the TA Select the crew HQ Lobby(For LP and ALP) Fetch Crew as per Rule(For LP and ALP) Submit(If the Required crew Not appearing, then select “Fetch Crew All” and give reason without fail) Select the crew required from the list (Both LP and ALP) Serve Call Coaching Loco TNC Crew ACK Select status as “YS” Save Click HOME in the call serve advice.

To report SIGN ON Approval for coaching crew Coaching LOCO or Guard SUP Sign ON Approval Select status as “YS” SaveTo Report SIGN OFF approval Coaching LOCO or Guard SUP

Sign OFF Approval Select status as “YES” SaveTo report a crew through Supervisor sign ON This should be used only during the Server ,Power, System and networkfailure, when the crew has sign OFF in your lobby and not sign ON through KIOSK andworked the train.1. If the crew has not been booked and still under REST status in your lobby. Traffic advice ( The scheduled departure time = current time + 2.00 Hr) Crew Booking Crew ACK

Freight Supervisor Sign ON Select the crew ID Enter the correct sign ON time Enter the BA token No( If BA done through Hand BA set, the report No may be enteredotherwise enter “00) Enter the BA value as “0” Click Personal Mobile Carrying as “ NO”. If “YES” enter Mobile number of crew. Enter the reason as Server,Network Failure or Power failure or system failure as thecase may be. Click the responsibility of SM SAVE

2. If the crew has not sign OFF in the lobby and handed over the TRIP Sheet or “Manual SignON/Sign OFF sheet. Freight or Coaching Loco or Guard TNC Crew Movement Details Enter Crew ID Click “GO” Select the Crew details Enter the details ( Correct route,From Stn,To Stn,Dep time,Sign Ontime,Arr time,Sign OFF time,Sanctioned rest( 16 hrs for HQ Lobby and 8 hrs for Out stnLobby)Loco No(Click “GO”), EMR (select from options) Click “ +” symbol( One RUN added in the screen) Click “SAVE”To Create New User ID: Login with Lobby configuration User Id and Password Create User Enter the details(User ID,User Name,Design,Lobby User(SuperUnified LOCO+GUARD)Mobile No.,Password ,Confirm Password) SAVE

Train enquiry: The current position of freight and coaching train running towards your stationor to any other station can be viewed in CMS application. This is a good facility available inCMS.To Know the Train details of Coaching trains: Coaching LOCO or Guard SUP Train Enquiry Enter the stn Name Click “GO” The train details will be shown as below

To get the details of Freight Trains. FREIGHT LOCO or Guard SUP Train Enquiry Enter the stn Name Click “GO”

The train details will be shown as belowTo Check the Network connectivity:Network Topology: Each location systems are connected with the server, which is available inCRIS/ NDLS via the networking equipments such as modem, HUB and router etc. If a systemshowing the error as

then it is clear that, network is faileddue to local problem or server problem.. Each system has aIP(Internet Protocal) Number as we have the name. This IP number will be shown in theopening screen of the CMS application.To verify the connectivity , following steps may be done.System Level: Click the “TERMINAL” above the top of the screenEnter the IP Number of Your THIN Client or KIOSK as follows. If you get the reply as follows,then your system is in working condition.eg.TO check the system in MDU: TYPE PING 10.86.207.214 in the screen and press ENTER If connectivity is good it will show as follows

TYPE Ping 10.86.207.8 and Press ENTER .The the reply will be as above if connectivity is OK.To check the connectivity upto ServerTYPE PING 10.60.200.168 and Press ENTER. The reply will be shown as follows.
