No one, including Dustin Johnson could tell if the ball moved or not, and even if it did, no advantage was gained, so why did the USGA make such a big deal over the incident. Maybe New Decision 34-3/10 will address these issues and prevent what happened to Lexi Thompson at Mission Hills from happening to another player on another tour in the future.
