Open Books, Open Minds’’ The Sharjah International Book fair (SIBF) The Sharjah International Book fair VIBES (SIBF) introduced this powerful phrase as their slogan. There are many values that could be drawn, just by reading a book. It’s not just a book with pages or letters. It is a piece of magic. To enlighten the magic in all of us, our school gave us a chance to visit the ‘Paradise of Books’. It was an amazing experi- ence to witness millions of books and to realise millions of ways for little brains to think out of the box. 5 Celebrating the Spirit of the Union FLAG DAY Our school Bhavans Wise Indian Academy celebrated UAE national Flag Day on November 3rd during the morning assembly. The Principalhoisted the UAE ag.Stu- dents held UAE ag in their hands and waved their ags as a mark of respect. Grade 2C conducted the National Flag Day assembly. They educated the school on the colour symbolization of the ag. The tiny tots alsoperformed a traditional Arabic dance, sang a group song in Arabic and delivered a speech on UAE National ag.
