Evrnet Dy 01 June 5th is marked by UN as ‘World Environmen- tal Day’ a day set aside since 1974 to promote ‘World Wide Awareness and Action for the Protection of our Environment’. This year’s theme is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, and this year’s host was India. We the students of Bhavans Wise Indian Academy, Ajman on ‘World Environment Day’ conducted an assembly hosted by Adwaith of Grade 8 B. As the part of the special occasion, all the students wore green colour dress to show their sel ess dedication to this movement. In the assembly we had Grade 8A student Shwetambari and Grade 4 A student Senorita shared their thoughts on Environment. On the theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ Grade 5 and 7 students Abhiyah, Danah, Fidah and Chetana spoke and explained ‘ What is Plastic Pollution?’ and ‘The Ways to Reduce Plastic Pollution’. To put more light on the topic a mime was presented by Grade 7A students. A video was presented by Grade 7A student Reya; also a power point presentation prepared and presented by Grade 7 and 8 students. Even a skit on di erent ways to reduce the use of plastic was performed by Grade 5A. To mark the occasion the students even bought plants for the Environment Day and the school planted them in the school garden as an initiative towards saving the Environment. So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that monthshould spend it in fasting…” (Baqarah, 2:185)Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering tobreak their fast together.Iftar is taken just before Maghrib time, which is around sunset.The Prophet (S.A.W) said:“He who gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will receive the same reward as him, and nothing willbe reduced from the fasting persons reward.” (Sunan at- Tirmidhi: 807)Following this spirit of community, sta of the Wise Indian Academy, Ajman planned and organized an Iftar Partyon 7th June,2018 ( Thursday) at 6:30 pm in the school campus to celebrate this sacred occasion.Vibes 03

Rmdn Caiy Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said: Who is giving food for others, he is the best person Our teachers and students had spent this Ramadan with good charity works, we collected AED 2200 from the sta and student’s .We purchased grocery items and then visited Ajman Korean Company with our students. They welcomed us with pleasant faces. We distributed the grocery items to the workers of that company.04 Vibes

Qrn Rctto “ ” (Al – Baqarah 2: 121) Our School conducted the Quran recitation competition on 11th June 2018 in the Holy month of Ramadan for Grades 1 to 7 , main objective of the competition is to inculcate love of reciting the Quran in the manner of taught by the prophet (S.A.W). The students were asked to prepare any one Surah from the following: Grade 1: Surah Al Ikhlaas, Surah Koutar Grade 2: Surah Koutar, Surah Quraish Grade 3: Surah Naas, Surah Falaq Grade 4: Surah feel, Surah Humazah Grade5: Surah Shams, Surah Al Qariah Grade 6: Surah Al Qadr, Surah Teen Grade 7: Surah Doha, Surah Zilzaal Students actively participated and were rewarded with individual positions.Vibes 05

Sho Coig As a celebration of the ongoing  FIFA Tournament,  we encouraged all  the students to wear their respective supporting team Jersey T-Shirts with our School PE pants on Thursday, 28th June 2018. All the students brought extra food for sharing with their classmates during break time. The Principal wished the students happy holidays during assembly. Holiday assignments would be uploaded in the LMS for the students to complete and submit on reopening. We wish all our beloved students and parents Happy Holidays, we look forward to welcome our young brigade in September with a lot of hope and aspirations. Vibes 11
