With Dr. Blanck’s guidance and the hard work of colleagues, I was able to apply my background in computer science to extract meaningful data from massive genomics datasets. AI and machine learning will play an increasingly larger role in the clinical care of tomorrow, particularly in the field of radiology. My research reaffirms my desire to be at the forefront of that movement. 70

The Medicine & Gender meetings always have dynamic discussions and interesting speakers. It has provided me with an opportunity to develop my skills in designing a research project, gaining IRB approval, and drafting a manuscript for publication. This was one of the most significant experiences of my medical training, and will have a lasting impact on my future as a physician. 73
