He is also approved Health Risk Assessment Workshop Facilitor by Petronas, Repso, and PTTEP. He has more than 20 years of experience in industrial hygiene and conducting health risk assessment / chemical health risk assessment for industries (onshore and offshore) and facilitate health risk assessment workshop for the oil and gas companies covering the following asset phases. i. Design ii. Construction iii. Commissioning iv. Operation v. Subsea / Drilling vi. Decommissioning (Plug & Abandonment) He has involved in developing industrial hygiene program for industries which include the following: • Industrial hygiene monitoring plan (IHMP) • Chemical exposure monitoring (CEM) strategy • Biological monitoring • Medical surveillance and examination He has worked closely with Dr Sabariah (Occupational Health Doctor & Approved Medical Examiner), and Dr Wilbur A. Spaul (PhD, MPH, MSCE, Certified Industrial Hygienist, ABIH # 2062) over few industrial hygiene projects in Malaysia and overseas. He has conducted safe handling of chemical as part of chemical managament program during offshore operation, offshore turn around, FPSO desludging, & asset decommissioning. He has hand-on technical know how on using direct reading instrument (DRI), passive sampler (diffusion method) or active sampler (sampling pump). He is also involved extensively in the quantitative risk assessment on human health outcomes due to acute and chronic exposure. He is also the member of American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), & Malaysia Industrial Hygiene Association (MIHA).
