4. I. COMPANY PROFILE Azpiro is a boutique consulting company helping technology OEM’s in expanding territories or revenues across India, APAC, Middle East and Africa. The scope ranges from developing sales strategy to engaging with potential customers and securing deals. The promotors Himanshu Goel and Partha Roy come with more than 60 years of combined experience in buying, selling, implementing, managing large spends and teams. Experience include working for start-ups, global front runners and tier 1 telecom operators. They have a track record of successfully executing projects impacting 100’s of millions of consumers or subscribers, 100’s of customers and 1000’s of employees. Other notable projects are setting electronic manufacturing plants, seeking loans, setting up Indian subsidiary of global companies, regional customer experience improvement programs, judicial intervention, negotiating complex contracts. They also have a distinction of successfully delivering variety of first of its kind projects. Azpiro’s associates in Australia, South Africa, Mumbai, Bangalore and GCC countries support Azpiro’s clients achieve their growth objectives. A tie-up with a telecom & IT product engineering firm with 50+ engineers helps Azpiro customers with proof of concepts, pilot projects, project rollout and product customization.
5. II. FOUNDERS Himanshu Goel has 31 years of experience of selling and implementing technology solutions to communication service providers and enterprises. He started his career with Catvision a start-up manufacturer of satellite and cable tv equipment in 1990 as a core member for manufacturing, R&D and projects including its a successful IPO in 1994. In 1997 he joined Motorola as a project manager for large first of kind HFC & CDMA WLL projects of Essar and Airtel. Over the last 21 years, he has been in sales leadership roles in 3Com, IBM, Microsoft & Cisco devising and executing sales strategies for Indian communication service providers as well as BFSI, OTT, Public Sector. His last role was of Managing Director for India Middle East and Africa for Syniverse Technologies (a Carlyle company) where over more than 3 years he delivered 5x booking growth, started enterprise vertical with $20M revenue in first year and restructured regional teams. One of his major achievement was victory with judicial intervention against TRAI’s unilateral reduction of MNP rates by 93% and reinstating the old rates. He also renewed the MNP license for additional 10 years. He has a track record of consistently delivering market leading YoY growth ranging from 35- 135% across different companies, differing economic conditions and varying product categories. He has a long history of innovating across products, business models and contractual arrangement. He has consistently delivered multi fold productivity gains from the sales team thereby drastically reducing cost per revenue dollar for the company. Himanshu is an avid learner of management lessons and so active member of national business leadership groups, invests and mentors several technology start ups as Angel investor. He is now a promoter of an advisory firm helping many technology companies to expand their presence or revenues in India, Middle East and Africa.
6. Partha Roy is a Commercial Management Practitioner with 30 years of Industry exposure having proven proficiency in Supply Chain Management Practices. He has been engaged in strategic consulting in Supply Chain Practices across industry segment since 2012. The core intervention focuses on business process transformation & people structuring to improve operational efficiency, capital productivity; Sourcing strategy for direct/ indirect procurement category. Prior to the entrepreneurial shift, he had a corporate exposure of 22 years spanning across manufacturing and service organizations. In his previous engagement of 14+ years Airtel, had an extensive exposure to effective supply chain management practices in a complex and dynamic ecosystem. He has managed varied portfolios for direct / indirect category related sourcing, contracting and Contract governance across all infrastructure and services domain of telecom business to ensure a successful delivery engagement with partners with an overall control portfolio of sourcing contract of USD 0.5 Bn per annum across 100+ partners , operational spend span of USD 4 Bn per annum , leadership responsibility for 165 team members.
7. III. CURRENT CUSTOMERS 1. Product Engineering services - A niche Indian telecom product engineering firm delivering Founded in 2012 in India with current strength of ~ 100 engineers focussed on Technology consulting, Product ( Hw Sw ) Engineering, Testing. Key solutions include Software development, Wireless Testing, Indoor RTLS, Drone Tracking System, Edge AI, NB IoT. 2. ML Based Wi-Fi slicing solution - A team of data scientists from Norway founded a company in 2013 with focussed on improving connected home experiences using machine learning on the CPE. They are gaining good traction in European operators and together with broadband forum they are driving the new standards too. 3. Telecom Monetization platform - Founded in 2005 in France, they leverage mobile operator’s subscriber, transaction and location data to provide AI based actionable insights for Telecom, Government, Transportation, Logistics, Advertising & Smart cities. Their solutions are implemented in 60+ operators globally. 4. Roaming & Interconnect - They are a part of large private equity organization focussed on SaaS companies and also the industry expert in roaming and interconnect, their innovative offering enables customers to manage a unified optimization process of both roaming and interconnect while driving the future of connectivity through new technologies and services. 5. B2B Marketplace - A start up with a great B2B marketplace engine for both buying and selling. Promoted by technocrats and supply chain professionals, their SaaS solution has impacted by more than 150 organizations already and they are ready to now launch their solution globally. 6. Industrial IoT Platform - For reasons of cost, complexity, time constraints, or team experience, too many Industrial IoT projects are unnecessarily delayed or don't even start.
