Women empowerment refers to making women powerful and make them capable of deciding for themselves.women are the primary caretakers of children and elders in every family.Empowering women is also an indispensable tool for advancing development and reducing poverty. Women empowerment means the ability in women to take decisions and having equal rights as men have in all area of fields like personal and professional. Unfortunately, they continue to face discrimination and other social challenges and are often victims of abuse and violent crimes. Women are found to be econom- ically very poor. Women empowerment starts with the basic steps of granting them the right to live. Thousands of female babies are killed either in the womb or right after their birth. Moreover, the education and freedom scenario is very regressive here. Women are not allowed to pursue higher education, they are married off early. REVISTA MAGAZINE
