New Technology During Covid downtime Abbey and Russ took the opportunity to locate and review older permits that had not yet been invoiced. Some of these dated back to 2014. The purpose was two-fold. First reason was to take advantage of the inspectors capacity as construction had been halted. The second reason was performing overdue housekeeping. Abbey set up a way to expedite the invoicing process to allow these companies to pay online. This work resulted in the following invoice totals: Consumers Energy $12,240 PAID Comcast $9,362.50 PAID ITC $660 PAID DTE $840 billed, awaiting payment Time Clock at the Garage Joni researched several options, beta tested and worked with Payroll to make sure this new time clock would be the best option. This is a touchless system that has automated the way time and attendance is calculated at the garage. The intuitive user interface makes the set up simple and managing time a breeze. The new system is easy, efficient, and flexible - seamlessly exporting data into our payroll system. Free payroll exports and no recurring monthly costs means a low total cost and increased productivity.
