Please make sure you visit the State HealthPlan's website shp.nctreasurer.com to educate yourself on the changes and make the bestchoice for your needs.Here are a few of the CHANGES you will see: The most noticeable difference is that theenrollment process will be less time consuming this year. This will help members navigatethrough and complete the steps more smoothly.Among the other changes:• The Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP) is being eliminated (be sure to useyour state-provided Health Reimbursement Account, or HRA, funds byDecember 31, 2017.• Family premiums have been frozen for the 2018 benefit year;• Copays and deductibles will not increase in 2018;• You will only have to complete the tobacco attestation credit;• Employee only coverage monthly premiums have increased for the 80/20 ($50)and the 70/30 ($25) plans. 5 HUMAN RESOURCES CHOICE SCHOOL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS DEPARTMENT CONTACTS The Choice Schools transfer application window for the 2018-2019 CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES school year is from November 1st- November 30th. Choice OFFICER Schools for 2018 are: Central Elementary School, Efland-Cheeks Global Elementary School, Hillsborough Elementary (year-round), Teresa Cunningham-Brown and Cedar Ridge High (IB program only).
