WHAT IS On the noticeboard of your school, you must NOTICE? have seen notices about various programmes or flyers asking people to volunteer for something. Sometimes a notice can also appear in a newspaper. A notice is a written or printed sheet of paper issued by an authority giving information or warning. It is usually displayed in a public place.
FORMAT • A notice should be written in the following format: OF NOTICE • Name of the issuing agency (school, etc) • Subject and date of issue/release of the notice • Event (what?) • Date/time/duration (when?) • Place/Venue (where?) • Authorised signatory: Name and Signature • Format: Name of the Institution Date NOTICE Body Authorised Signatory
