PRAYERS PRAISE GOD FOR WHO HE IS Thank our Lord Jesus for his gracious salvation. Thank him for how he is so unlike every other sinful human and yet so humble and servant hearted. THE WORLD  Pray for Afghanistan (Asia). Pray for this nation that has not known peace for such a long time. Pray for the physical and spiritual protection of God’s people there and also pray for the advance of God’s Kingdom through the church  Pray for those who are suffering from the Corona Virus around the world. Pray for God’s healing and for medical breakthroughs. Pray for those treating the ill. Pray that God will slow the infection rate and reduced the spread of the disease  Ask God to use the concern of the world about the corona virus, climate change etc to bring the world to trust in Christ the source of true comfort and eternal hope. SINGAPORE  Pray about the effects of the corona virus on the Singapore economy. Pray that God, the government and Christian organisations would protect the weak and vulnerable.  Pray for schools and kindergartens that they would appropriately deal with the corona virus. Pray for students who are preparing for exams in schools.  Pray for Rev Canon Dr Titus Chung who is the Bishop Designate to become the Bishop of Singapore in October 2020. Pray for Bishop Rennis as he hands over the role. ST GEORGE’S  Thank God for the appointment of Vicky Smith to be Children’s Director overseeing Mums and Tots and Sunday School. Thanks for the return of Mums and Tots and pray for more volunteer helpers and for the Mums and Tots to connect with Jesus through the ministry of Mums and Tots  Thank God for the start of ALPHA.
