After classes ended, Dave, the class monitor, went up to Roy and offered, “Would you like to join us for a soccer game this afternoon?” “We’ll be playing at the open field near the library,” another classmate, Mike, added. “Thanks for the invitation but I’ve planned to go jogging,” Roy replied with an apologetic smile. He knew that he ought to seize the chance to bond with his classmates. However, he preferred to spend his free time on his own. “Isn’t jogging awfully boring?” Dave asked with an amused look on his face. Roy burst out laughing and exclaimed, “But I’ve always enjoyed it!”
