Tribute by BROTHERS & SISTERS(DZOLO) Korku, Fo Kwame, Onny, Peace, and Clara are here, where are you? Clement, so you are gone to eternity, a few months after our second born, Professor Benony Gordor left us in sadness; which we are yet to recover from. After Professor’s funeral, we resolved never to perform any funeral again but little did we know that the waves of death would still blow over us. What a shock! Clement was the sixth child of eight children of our mother. Growing up together, Kwaku was rather crafty, industrious and hard-working. He was calm, affable, kind and a bit reserved but quick to crack a joke to make all us laugh. He spent most of his hay days in Abeka mostly engaged in one kind of business or another which we supported in different ways until he was established. He relocated to Pokoase, and undertook fish farming. Clement’s health had been deteriorating for the past few years. He sought medical attention at different hospitals. As his siblings, we gave the needed assistance to ensure he recovered, but his ill health was on and off. He was hospitalized at Amasama Hospital and we prayed fervently for his recovery. It was very sad to hear he also passed on, on June 28, 2022. Oh, Clement, your sudden demise has really been a blow to us having buried, Prof. our elder brother in April this year. We least expected your call to eternity so soon. God knows what we do not know. Oh, bro, we shall miss you dearly, but you will be in our hearts. Your Soul Rest in Perfect Peace. Hede nyuie. Amen.

Tribute by NEPHEWS &NIECES And I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on”. “Yes” says the Spirit, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them. Rev. 12: 13. We couldn’t hold our tears on hearing of your sudden demise. When we had not yet recovered from the vacuum created by the loss of Uncle Ben, little did we know that you also were on your way. We are careful to hold back our whys because the Almighty God reigns and He knows what is best for his children. Ofa Kwaku as most of us affectionately called him was such a caring, loving, kind, supportive and welcoming uncle to all of us his nephews and nieces. He willingly shared his resources including his home with anyone one of us in need. We cannot count the numerous times many of us had to stay with him on transit and he would wish we had stayed longer. Not to even mention the unplanned visits to his home in Abeka yet, he never complained nor asked when we would go back. Uncle Clement, we cannot forget in a hurry your tremendous support to us. You willingly accepted us in your home and encouraged us to look for something to do as Accra is full of opportunities. Even when your business went down, you never rejected any one of us who wanted to stay with you for a while. You contacted people you knew in search of jobs for us. You went all lengths to put food on our table. Just when some of us are planning for a comeback, you left us.

Your generosity cannot go unmentioned. Even in your difficult moments, you hardly allowed us to spend our credit to call you. You would rather prefer to return our calls than to pick ours to speak on our credit. You could even go and lend money for us to use for transportation. You always wished to see us smile and joyful always, and so you would make a face which made us smile. Oh, how we wished you stayed a little bit longer to enjoy all your sacrifices. To us, you were such an adorable special Uncle. We are very grateful for your generosity, your sacrifices and the special moments we spent with you. It is our prayer that the Almighty God will grant you a peaceful rest and a good reward for all your sacrifices. We love and cherish you. If in deed you meet Eda (Our Grandmother- your Mom) Uncle Ben , Norde Asantewa and Ofa Kwamla our kind regards to them all. Hede nyuie Ofa, Babaa lo! Gbeadegbe miagado go. Dzudz4 le `utifafa me. Amen.

He was a very calm energetic and crafty young man who never failed to put smiles on the faces of who got closer to him. He always had goodwill promises to share. Fo Korku occasionally travelled to Dzolo to share moments with the family. His last visit to the family at Dzolo was in October 2021. He spent few weeks with her Sister Peace, and promised to visit again as he enjoyed every moment he spent there with all. The family was expecting his next visit, only to receive news of his death. It was a moment of sorrow, however, the family had to accept it as such. Our hearts are filled with sorrow, we are yet to come to terms with the fact that your elder Brother, Prof B.K Gordor passed on barely a few months past, and you also followed. It’s such a big blow to the family to have lost you both within a few months. But who are we to question God? We take consolation in the fact that you are in a better place. We will really miss you as a family as your place will always remain vacant among us. Thank you for your contributions to the family. May the good Lord grant you a peaceful rest. Baba nawo! Tribute by KPANDU SECONDARY SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION-KOSA 82/84 Clement Kwaku Myers joined our year group in 1978 when we were in Form Two. His first name, Clement was not popular with many students. He was referred to as Myers or Kwaku. Perhaps the Myers sounded too much like the Queens vocabulary. Kwaku was assigned Jones House (House Two) and the “C” class of our year group. We soon realised some of his abilities outside the classroom and one of these was hockey. He was a staunch member of the school’s hockey team during our time and did his best to project the name of Kpasec in that area of sports. He mixed very well with all students and one could say that he was one of the few students who had no boundaries as far as his relationship with people was concerned. Perhaps his ability to speak many Ghanaian languages was also a factor. He spoke fluent Twi, Ga, Ewe, in addition to his mother tongue *Lelemi. He had a calm heart and very accommodating. After many years of break in our relationship as old students of Kpasec we started meeting again one after the other until we all got together on WhatsApp platform in May 2015. Kwaku became a member of the group and though he could not participate effectively on platform issues, he followed all discussions. We noted of Kwaku that he retained his calm composure even in later life and hardly got angry over issues. He developed skills in many areas including computer software and hardware, graphic designing, printing, and could build things once he observed them. In addition, he was a generous giver to a flaw. Kwaku’s strong sense of generosity was also one of the reasons he had

problems with others over issues of money. He never minded to give out his last to people in need. At the same time, he never cared to take money from Peter and give it to Paul to solve his problems. It never bothered him to go to prison if it is for the sake of helping another person. So it was that when the group learned a few years back that he fell sick, members never hesitated to assist him in various ways. When later he had some tests conducted and communicated same to the President of the group, he quickly mobilized the executive to find some help for him. Members were contacted to extend individual help while some even sent him medications based on the laboratory report. When he was hospitalized, we followed up and were arranging with some members who have links at 37 military hospital to liaise with his family for possible transfer from Amasaman Municipal Hospital. Before this plan could materialize, our colleague and brother Kwaku, was already accepted into the realm of everlasting peace. Kwaku ….. Olimpio….. Kadangu…. Clement….. Tribute by GREAT ANOINTING POWERMINISTRY “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also”. John 14:1-3 Brother, words cannot describe how shocked we were when we heard the sad news of your death. We had barely seen you the previous days and weeks as usual. You were bearing smiles at everybody; we shared the same love as if you were one of us. Brother Clement Kwaku Myers was affable, selfless, loyal, kind, and thoughtful. We still cannot believe you are no more. We will miss your early morning hellos at our reception. We will forever miss your jokes, laughter, and smiles. Our dearest brother in Christ, May your soul rest in perfect peace.

Hymn ONE AmazingGrace Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. 'Twas Grace that taught my heart to fear, And Grace, my tears relieved. How precious did that Grace appear The hour I first believed. Through many dangers, tools and snares I have already come; 'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far and Grace will lead me home.

Hymn TWO Jesus,KeepMeNearTheCross Jesus keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain, Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calvary's mountain. Chorus In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my raptured soul shall find, Rest beyond the river. Near the Cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me; There the bright and morning star Sheds it's beams around me. In the cross.... Near the Cross: O Lamb of God, Bring it's scenes before me; Help me walk from day to day, With it's shadows o'er me. In the cross...
