Admission ● The website to apply on is https://www.admissions.uga.edu/ ● The admission requirements are, you need at least a 3.7 gpa, a 1300-1400 sat score, and you need to submit it by October 15 ● You have to pay a $70 fee ● Also to get in you need to do five short essays ● 29,308 students apply each year ● 26,500 students are admitted for class of 2022

Tuition/Financial Aid ● The in state cost is $11,634 and the out of state cost is $29,844 ● The book cost is $986 ● The meal plans are $4,036 per year ● On-campus housing costs $6,104 ● The requirements to get a scholarship are, you need at least a 3.9 gpa, and a minimum sat score of 2110 ● Some of the scholarships are, Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship, Presidential Leadership Scholarship, and the Baldwin Scholarship ● The yearly cost at UGA is $9,552 per year

School Description ● The address is 210 South Jackson Street Athens, Ga 30602 ● The university of Georgia is a public school ● It is also non-religious ● It is a co-ed school ● The percentage of male and female students is 57%female and 43%male. ● There are 37,606 students enrolled ● The faculty to student ratio is 1:17 ● The campus is 767 acres and has 465 buildings ● Two of the leaders of the college also signed the United States Constitution ● The college was founded on January 27, 1785 by Abraham Baldwin ● One of the traditions are the hedges around the football field ● Another tradition is their mascot Uga

Student Life ● The varsity sports for the students are baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country, women's equestrian, football, men's and women's golf, women's gymnastics, women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's track ● Greek life is offered for both male and female ● 34% of students live in college owned houses, and the rest live of campus. ● Some of the intramural sports are, volleyball, soccer, flag football, and tennis. ● Some student jobs are Test prep instructor, nurse, and a manger

Fun Facts ● Uga was named \"National Best Mascot\" by Sports Illustrated in 1997. ● He was the first mascot to attend the Heisman trophy ceremony. ● He has even been a movie star. ● There has only been one substitute in the UGA era. ● Georgia’s first mascot was actually a goat ● The University of Georgia was first named Franklin College
